Jared S. Brewer
Jared attended the George Washington University Law School in Washington, D.C., where he graduated cum laude. He also holds a Bachelor's degree from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. Jared has legal experience in areas of family law, estate planning, civil litigation, and criminal defense.
Annalee Bloom
Annalee Bloom joined Schneider & Brewer on January 23, 2023. Attorney Bloom has worked in the legal profession for approximately 30 years. She attended Villanova University School of Law and graduated in 1992. She began her career working with Attorney Hal Weisberger (now deceased) in Augusta and then joined the District Attorney’s Office for Kennebec and Somerset Counties where she worked as an Assistant District Attorney for over four years. Attorney Bloom then worked in private practice in Skowhegan until she started to work for the State of Maine. Much of her practice focused on family law. From 2017 until coming to Schneider & Brewer, Attorney Bloom worked as an Administrative Hearing Officer for the Department of Health and Human Services. She conducted hundreds of administrative hearings and wrote hundreds of decisions on a variety of subjects including child support and child protective matters. Annalee lives in Waterville and has two adult children and two adult step children. Annalee is excited to be back in private practice and we are happy to welcome her to the firm.
Chelsea Taylor
Chelsea is originally from northern Maine and obtained her bachelor’s degree from the Arizona State University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. She later returned to Maine to pursue a legal career. In 2022, while in law school, Chelsea was sworn in as a student attorney and represented dozens of clients in family matters and protection from abuse cases, through the Cumberland Legal Aid Clinic and Pine Tree Legal Services. She graduated from the University of Maine School of Law and was admitted to the Maine Bar in 2023. Chelsea lives in Clinton with her husband, children, cats and goldendoodle J.D.
Samantha Gogan
Paralegal
Samantha attended The University of Maine at Orono where she earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in history with a minor in Political Science. Sam earned her Paralegal Certificate from the University of Maine at Augusta and joined Schneider & Brewer as a paralegal in 2015. Sam resides in Waterville with her beloved cat, Emira. When not in the office she enjoys spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews. She is an avid New England Sports fan and enjoys hiking the mountains of coastal Maine.
Tobi Leanna Schneider
Retired
Tobi Leanna Schneider is now retired from the practice of law. She began practicing as an attorney in 1977. She opened her own law practice at Schneider & Brewer's current location on Silver Street in Waterville in 1982. Tobi operated a general civil practice of law that focused on all aspects of the family: Adoptions, Child Support, Parental Rights, Parent Child Contact, Divorce, Post-Divorce Matters, Grandparents' Rights, and Guardian Ad Litem. She worked closely with each client to give them the individual service and attention they should expect and deserve. The attorneys at Schneider & Brewer continue her legacy by providing dedicated, caring, individualized service to their clients.
